Emergency on Planet Earth is the debut studio album released by British acid jazz band Jamiroquai. It was released on 17 May 1993 in the United Kingdom, 24 June 1993 in Japan and 10 August 1993 in the United States. The album features strong elements of the mixture of R&B and funk genres, but it is notable for being one of the group's definitive acid-jazz albums.
