Zac Hanson of Hanson

Zachary Walker "Zac" Hanson (born October 22, 1985) is an American musician, best known as a member of the pop rock band Hanson. He plays drums, percussion, piano, guitar and also sings back-up and lead vocals. He was the lead singer on "Go", the second single from The Walk.

Hanson, at age 12, was the second youngest person ever to be nominated for a Grammy Award (second to Michael Jackson). He holds the title of youngest songwriter nominated for a Grammy (same year).

In August 2000, Zac Hanson was introduced to Kate Tucker. They began dating in 2001 and their relationship continued for four years before Hanson proposed in March 2005. They were married on June 3, 2006,[1] in a private ceremony held at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. They have two children, John Ira Shepherd "Shepherd" Hanson born in 2008, and Junia Rosa Ruth Hanson, born in 2010. Hanson and wife, Kate are expecting their third child in the autumn of 2013.
